Privacy Policy

We believe processing personal data with care is paramount; all the personal data we collate is meticulously processed and protected. In doing so we adhere to the stipulations as laid out in the Data Protection Act. Meat Import Zandbergen Brothers B.V. is responsible for all data processing. Because our processes fall within the legislative exemption regulation they are not registered with the Personal Data Protection Authority. This privacy declaration explains which personal data we collate and use, and to what purpose.

Recording and processing data 
We only save and use personal data that is directly provided by yourself, or data that upon submission it is clearly stated it will be provided to us. Data that is no longer required is deleted. You can also request to inspect, change or delete data. To do so please see the contact details at the bottom.  


Registration system
In order to be able to place an order you must first be registered with us. Upon registration, and via the user name selected by you, we save the data you provided such as name, address, place of residence, email address, as well as data provided with any previous orders.  We save this data so that you don't need to fill them in each time and so that we can contact you for sales agreement, invoicing and payment purposes; and to provide you with an overview of the products you have bought. By registering you are agreeing to your personal data being processed.

We will not provide the data linked to your user name to third parties, unless that proves necessary for a sales agreement you have concluded with us or unless we are legally obliged to do so. As such we provide our courier with your name and address details when delivering your order. When you want to pay by credit card or similar method, we pass on your card details to our bank for transaction authorization. In the event fraud or misuse of our site is suspected we are allowed to pass on personal data to the relevant authorities.


User name and password
Your user name is linked to a password. You are personally responsible for keeping this password safe.  We assume that the person logging in with your user name and password is authorized to do so. If you suspect that your user name and password are known to a stranger please notify us as quickly as possible so that we can take the appropriate measures.


Protecting personal data
We utilize stringent security procedures, amongst other things, to prevent unauthorized access to personal data. In particular we use secured connections (Secure Sockets Layer or  SSL) that safeguard all information sent between you and our website, when you register or place an order.


Email and newsletter
If you fill in a contact or subscription form on the website, or send us an email, then all the data you send us is saved for as long as we require the content of the form or email for us to fully answer and process it.

We offer a newsletter which we use to inform those who are interested of our products, services and related issues. Your email address is only added to the subscribers list with your express permission. Each newsletter contains a link that allows you to unsubscribe. The newsletter subscriber file is not passed on to third parties.


Mouse and visitor behavior
Generic website visitor data is recorded. Within this context in particular the IP address of your computer can be registered and used for statistical analysis of visitor and mouse behavior on the site. We try to keep this data as anonymous as possible. This data is not provided to third parties. 


Use of cookies
When offering electronic services we use cookies. A cookie is a small, simple file that is saved on the computer's hard drive. We utilize temporary cookies. These cookies do not contain any personal data and are only used to facilitate use of the site.

Having logged in with your user name and password our site sends you a cookie in order to recognize you for the remainder of the session. This cookie enables us to keep up-to-date with your requested pages. We can use this information to then show suitable products and to optimize the site according to your wishes and preferences.

This declaration does not apply to third party websites connected to this website via links. We advise you to read the privacy declarations of these sites before you use them.
